Clipart was inserted from here. I have developed a belief that where possible activities we develop in school should try to enable replication at, or draw on home experiences, and software children may have available or access to. We do use tools like textease and Tizzy's first tools, but these are obviously not commonly available at home. Regarding typing, I have just invested in a site license for 2 Simple's 2 type, which we will be introducing as a daily/weekly literacy activity within classroom ICT areas, in the new year. Have you tried it out.
