Comic Life for Windows now on Beta 4

Visited the plasq site today for a check up on progress to final release date for Comic Life. In the forum they seem confident that the current beta version, Beta 4, will "very likely be the last" it is available for trial until November 1st.

"This latest beta includes many small improvements relating to memory usage, user experience and stability." Hopefully this will mean it is less clunky. I can't wait to get my hands on the full version, and to begin using it with my students.

If you want to try out the Beta you can download it from Plasq.

I'm looking forward to the final release of Comic Life on Windows, but I know I'll miss the neat integration with iLife on Mac OS X . . . .

I have a copy of comic life for mac too, and love the integration with iLife, but obviously because we run Windows PCs on our network and not Macs, this is the key reason for being so excited about a version of the software I can use with staff and students. I hope that the final version has the ability to share files between the two platforms, which hasn't been possible with the Betas.

Absolutely. I've been highlighting Comic Life for Windows to people for a while now - "coming soon". Will be great to actually see what some of the teachers in Wolverhampton can do with it once it's out.
